Matthew Petridis, Sales Coordinator

The Solar-Log® team was lucky to have Sales Coordinator, Matthew Petridis, join us for the summer. You may have had the pleasure of speaking with Matthew over the last few months. He took on the important role of reengaging and reconnecting with many of our contacts and partners.

Matthew brought a welcomed fresh perspective on the solar market to the team. His passion for learning about renewable energy is indicative of the importance of solar energy for the future of our planet and for younger generations.

Q: What is the best thing about working for Solar-Log®?

The best thing to me about working for Solar-Log® is having the opportunity to learn about the interesting and important market that is solar. Renewable’s are going to be a large part of the answer to humanities energy needs in the future, so as an investment in myself, exposure to the industry is valuable. It’s also nice to know I’m contributing to a small piece of something that positively influences the environment.

Q: What do you find to be the most challenging thing in your role so far?

The most challenging thing about my role so far is having all of the information that people desire if they’re interested in our product. From broad questions on policy to specific ones on the hardware used in our monitoring solutions, there really is a lot to know about the entire solar management process.

Q: What would people be surprised to know about you?

I’ve spent around two hours a day almost every day doing math for the past year and a half.
