The solar PV array at Migros Neuendorf Distribution Center is one of the largest roof-mounted PV systems in Switzerland. The array is comprised of 29,737 solar modules.
Construction of the plant began in 2013 by Tritec AG and Helion Solar AG, and was finalized in 2016. The 7 subsystems are each separately controlled by a Solar-Log 2000 and monitored in the Solar-Log WEB 4 portal.
In order to visualize the system values, two display panels were installed on the building to show the daily and total yield as well as the CO2 savings. Since 2013, the plant has generated electricity for around 4,000 households / approx. 30 % of the electricity consumption of the distribution center.
