Silvia Blumenschein, CEO and General Manager of Solar Data Systems, and Anders Rand Andersen of emazys Technologies met in Odense, Denmark last month to discuss how Solar Data Systems can bring more value to solar professionals in North America through emazys products.
Among the discussion points were how the two companies can further cooperate, especially after emazys expanded its ownership and received substantial funding for its continued growth and expansion. The North America market is a priority of both companies given the expected growth rate of the solar market, even with the impact of COVID-19.
Solar Data Systems began offering the emazys Z200 to U.S. customers early this year. The tool is designed for after installation troubleshooting and diagnostics for O&M applications. There are still very few competing instruments designed for this approach. When it comes to PV Field test methods and equipment, there are many products available, but none are as dedicated to connectors/cable troubleshooting as the Z200. The Z200 kit is the ideal combination of relatively low-cost and very high O&M test functionality. Both companies have the goal of providing customers in North America with this unique solution.
Solar Data Systems also offers monitoring & controlling solutions for PV plants through both their own branded platform and with Solar-Log®. Part of the meeting in Denmark focused on product-development and how to further approach the North American market together. The partners look forward to further developing combined products and services to create even more value for solar O&M professionals.
